Ice Cream Cupcakes and other Summer Food

Just for the fun of it we made these silly cupcakes.
They're essentially cupcakes baked in a muffin tin
with ice cream cones inverted on the batter.
The cupcakes bake into the cones and, after
some shaping, are frosted to look like ice creams.

And for supper tonight we had kebabs.
They take a little longer to prepare than just
frozen chicken breasts and steaks slapped on the grill,
but they are so colorful and summery-looking
that it's worth the extra effort!

Here they are just ready to come off the grill and
onto the dinner table. Tonight's was a good batch;
unfortunately I cannot remember the marinade
because it's different every time we make it.
All I can say for sure is that it has barbeque sauce in it,
salt, pepper and some other random seasoning.
